People with hemorrhoids often times are ashamed to visit their doctors since they will need to expose their back side for examination.  Unfortunately, this is one of the ways to check if a person has hemorrhoids.  Nottingham University researchers made a study about which kind of treatment procedure is more effective to use.  The two procedures studied were stapled haemorrhoidopexy and haemorrhoidectomy and found out there is no significant difference between the two.But home hemorrhoids treatment is possible if for some reason the person does not want to go the hospital for treatment.

To avoid hemorrhoids from getting worse, after defecating, blot the anal area with a moist tissue paper or wet wipes.  You can also use Balneol after defecation since it is also used as a cleansing agent.  To keep the anal area from irritation, avoid rubbing it and do not use very tight under garments.  These home hemorrhoids treatment is possible and will prevent the condition from worsening.  If your hemorrhoids are painful, you can take pain relievers such as Tylenol, ibuprofen and other nonsteroidal anti – inflammatory drugs to relieve the pain.  You can also apply hot compress or sit on your tub with warm water for about 15 to 20 minutes to decrease pain.

These home hemorrhoids treatments is possible and they are effective home remedies.  But if the condition persists or it is not relieved by doing home remedies, it will be best to visit your physician for further examination.  If the condition worsens, a surgery might be needed and you will be informed by your doctor about this.  Do not be afraid of your condition because hemorrhoids can be treated through surgery for severe cases with proper medications.  After the surgery, you will be advised to change most of your diet and lifestyle because your present lifestyle might be the reason why you had hemorrhoids.
